AIMS
1. To implement Government policies on Technical Education effectively.
2. To regulate and improve the functioning of diploma-level technical institutions in the district.
3. To become a centre of excellence in Diploma Technical Education by integrating strong academics with human values.
4. To empower students to become technologically competent, innovative, and emotionally mature individuals capable of facing global challenges.
OBJECTIVES
1. To inspect and guide commercial and technical institutions offering courses like typewriting and shorthand.
2. To create opportunities for higher education and quality placements for students.
3. To depute qualified faculty as Inspection Officers for evaluation and recommendation of SBTET affiliation for diploma programs in private Engineering and aided colleges.
4. To achieve academic excellence and ensure holistic personality development.
5. To establish strong partnerships between institution and industry.
6. To implement curriculum revisions, updated syllabi, and improved examination systems.
7. To organize staff development and refresher training programmes.
